Water failed to produce

The Driffield Woldsmen Angling Club held their latest match at Risby Lakes on the Tench Lake on Sunday and with a hot day most anglers were anticipating a good match. Once again the water failed to produce the goods. Apart from a handful of anglers, most struggled to get among any fish but three anglers certainly did, leaving the rest well behind with a clear winner - L Duggleby with a very good weight for the day.
Result: 1 L Duggleby 43lb2oz, 2 R Dinan 30lb4oz, 3 P Stafford 25lb8oz, 4 G Hoggard 11lb13oz.
