Driffield Star FC would like to say thank you to all players who have played in pre-season friendlies for the team.
It has been an entertaining pre-season with goals galore. Two games against Nafferton Old Boys resulted in 6-3 and 5-4 defeats, and this was followed by a 4-3 defeat against Little Driffield.

However, last Wednesday in Star's penultimate friendly, they finally achieved a win in an amazing game against Bridlington Sports Club 3rds, the score finishing at 9-8 to Star, including six goals from new striker Thomas Spence. It was an excellent team performance by the much changed Star side.

The team's final friendly is on Wednesday night at Middleton Rovers, kick-off will be at 6.15pm.

If anyone is interested in sponsoring Driffield Star FC this season could they please leave details at The Star Inn Driffield or contact Jonnie Bell on 07985767375.
