Unfortunately, many teams in the East Riding Independent League were struggling to raise sides on Saturday and six teams were forced to concede their matches.
Of the matches played, there were good performances by Middleton and Rudston and Kilham in Division One.

John Nesfield won top scorer once again for Middleton with 68 and Jason Hullah, taking 6 for 18 knocked the stuffing out of the Old Hymerians
' batting.

Rudston and Kilham improved their league position by beating Flamborough by 28 runs. S Sharpe (51) and S Harrison (40) scored well for Rudston despite J Trowhill taking 7 for 29 for Flamborough. However, A Moor and G Beevers each took three wickets as the seasiders were restricted to 125 for 7.

There were no matches played in Division Two and Division Three proved little better with just one.

South Cave confirmed their top position by beating Leven. For them Jonathan Daniels had the remarkable analysis of 7 wickets for 7 runs as Leven were bowled out for a mere 22 runs.
