Newastle United manager Kevin Keegan has resigned just days before Hull City travel to St James Park which should give the Tigers a huge confidence booster.
Keegan resigned yesterday (Thirsday) leaving Newcastle just over a week to find a replacement before they entertain Hull City.

One Hull City supporter, who live in Newcastle, said: "Everyone seems gutted up here, they all loved Keegan and one fan I know said he is not going to the City game now.
"So if they decide to boycott the game you never know but we could have more fans at the game, how mad would that be!"

City are after a boost following their 5-0 home defeat to Wigan and this could be just the tonic they need – could a shock be on the cards?
