THE Yorkshire President's charity fundraising bowls match at Driffield Rec last Monday turned out to be a great success with over £1500 raised on the day for the RNLI as a result of donations and a raffle at the event.
The current Yorkshire President, Geoff Burnell, a playing member of the Driffield Rec club, arranged the match between his own side and the touring Dennyside BA team, an invitation team drawn from playing members all over the country.
