Lennon UFO sketch heads across the universe to Filey
Organiser Russ Kellett will show off his prized sketch from the ex-Beatle, which depicts a flying saucer he watched hover above New York.
The valuable sketch – which is usually kept in a bank vault – will share the stage with what Filey’s leading alien hunter claims is “indisputable” evidence of extra terrestrials. “A lot of people are coming to see the footage, a lot of which has never been seen before,” said Mr Kellett.

“Really this is some of the best footage you will ever see,” he added.
This is the third time he’s held a UFO conference in the borough, dubbed Britain’s UFO capital due to the high numbers of ‘close encounters’.
But in an eerie twist, he has tried to screen some of the “explosive” footage at previous conferences – and something mysteriously went wrong with the equipment.

Usually these events would cost £25 per ticket but Russ is doing this out of his own pocket to try and keep people interested in little green men.
“After sex, the paranormal is the most searched for thing on the internet – it’s big business again,” he said.
“But look at the X-Files coming back next year, people are fascinated and they know that these things are out there. We are bringing people to Filey over this and it should prove big business for the town.

The conference takes place between 10am and 10.30pm on Saturday July 18 inside the Evron Centre.
Special guest UFO whistleblower Larry Warren will head up the line-up, which also features Phenomena editor Steve Mera, and experts Sue Farrar and Nigel Wright, who will talk about their experiences.
