The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has announced it is to close its branch in Scarborough.
Nearly 800 jobs could go as the 78% tax-payer bank shuts 162 branches in England and Wales.
RBS customers will be able to bank at Natwest when the branch in Huntriss Row closes on August 15.
