Youths hurled stones at train windows
On Tuesday July 2, I was travelling home from Bridlington on the 17.46 train.
As the train pulled into Nafferton Station, a group of approximately seven youths hurled large stones at the carriage windows with around six direct hits.
The culprits then ran away across the fields.
The consequences, had one of the windows shattered, are obvious and could have been tragic as one of the seats was occupied by a couple of very young children.
I doubt if these people will be caught.
If they read this, I hope they will think about their actions and if any witnesses recognised any of them, perhaps they will do the right thing and inform the police.
