Some people left to do the donkey work
Hopefully, a good time was had by all the parents who attended the Driffield Infants School barbecue.
However, while I was there helping to set up the various stalls I noticed that it was the same people as last year, and the year before that, who were also setting out stalls.
A lot of work goes into organising this type of event, but as usual it is left to the regular people to do all the donkey work.
The money generated from these events goes a long way to providing necessary items for the children.
Do not leave it to the few because all of a sudden those few will be gone.
