I feel I must comment on the Luddite Exhibition we were affronted with on Market Place, Thursday/Saturday July 5/7 which was attended by certain council members plus followers.
First, I must ask: Who paid for the hire of the tent?

After standing there for a short time and listening to some of the propaganda they were telling people, it was so biased I thought of the recent by-election when there was less than six per cent turn-out. I wonder why.

They are complaining about the extra lorries. Yes, there will be a serious traffic problem unless a one-way traffic system is put into operation.

I remember when the cattle market was fully operational and the service lorries were 30 to 40 tonnes with trailers. They managed then.

I remember when the Wilkinson store was proposed. We had the same scenario. They are now operational and progressing well.

Do we have a parish council that is holding Driffield back?
Please voters, do something at the next election.
