BIKERS are gearing up for an Easter Egg Run next month.
Kilham Wednesday Night Bikers will be heading out onto the roads of East and North Yorkshire on Sunday April 4 for their 14th annual Easter Egg Run.
The run starts at The Bay Horse Kilham at 9am when bacon butties will be served ready for an 11am departure.
Bikers will end the day at Snappy, based in York - a charity organisation providing activities and play provision for children with special needs.
The group have chosen the charity again this year following last year’s successful event which raised £4,000 to help fund Snappy’s summer play scheme.
The group have gone back to their roots and now meet at The Bay Horse, Kilham every Wednesday evening for ride-outs during the year and socials in winter.
On the evening of the Easter Egg Run a raffle and tombola will be held at the pub from 7.30pm onwards.
To date they have raised more than £42,000 for various charities.
Anyone who would like to help or donate either eggs or money is asked to contact Fran Cowton on (01262) 420399 or go on the website www.KilhamWednesdayNightBikers.co.uk for further details.
