POLICE are investigating after gates and a radiator were stolen from outside a house where building work was taking place.
The incident is thought to have happened on Manorfield Road, Driffield, between 10.30am and 9.30pm on Saturday.

Police said two men approached the owner of the house to ask if they could have a radiator and a set of metal gates which had been left outside the property.

The owner refused, telling the pair she would be using the items, only to go out later and find they had been stolen.

Officers say the men were in a white pick-up.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 0845 6060222.
