A POLICE car travelling through Tibthorpe at 90mph was allegedly overtaken by another vehicle.
Magistrates sitting at Bridlington on Friday heard two motoring-related charges brought against the driver of the second vehicle.
Roman Toth, 31, of Hull entered not guilty pleas to driving without due care and attention and driving without insurance on February 22.
The prosecution solicitor, Phillip Evans, told the court that the West Yorkshire Police patrol vehicle had been travelling at around 90mph in the 60mph zone at Tibthorpe when it was overtaken by Mr Roth.
It is also alleged that he had been driving without insurance.
Presiding magistrate David Smith adjourned the matter until September 12 and a trial is expected to be held at a later date.
