THE ongoing campaign to extend CCTV coverage in Driffield was boosted this week with a fundraising stall at a town supermarket.
Officials from the Save Our Streets campaign staged a tombola and quiz stall at the Tesco store in George Street on Saturday, which raised £161 for the appeal.

And Anjanette Mills, co-ordinator of the All Saints' Neighbourhood Watch group which was formed from the SOS plea, said they had been delighted with the response from the public.

She said: "We aree really, really pleased. We had to pack up at one because we had nothing left. It was very well supported considering it was a nasty day."
