BREAKING NEWS - Two people airlifted to hospital after crash on A166 in East Yorkshire

TWO people have been airlifted to hospital tonight, Saturday, following a two-vehicle road accident.

The accident happened on the A166 between Garton-on-the-Wolds and Wetwang.

The road is currently closed and police are on the scene.

The injured people have been taken to Hull Royal Infirmary by air ambulance. Their injuries are described as serious, but it is not known yet whether they are life-threatening.
