ONE of only six open-air performances of a Shakespeare play is to take place at Sledmere House.
Twelfth Night will be performed in the grounds of the stately home by theatre company the Theatre of the Dales.

The professional Leeds-based company last year put on a successful production of A Winter’s Tale and will return to Sledmere on July 26.

This year's play, to be performed in and around the audience, will be directed by Serge Alvarez with music by Ninon Foiret.

Members of the audience are invited to bring chairs, rugs and picnics. Tickets are priced at £10 and gates will open at 6pm for a 7.30pm start. Contact (01377) 236637.
