NOSTALGIC music celebrating the time of Frank Sinatra is to be performed in Scarborough.
The Sinatra Years is being performed at Scarborough Spa on Saturday, a show which will feature much more than the songs crooned by Frank Sinatra.

Tony Jacobs and the Kings Of Swing will get on stage to sing material by Bing Crosby, Al Jolson, Fred Astaire, Benny Goodman, Lionel Hampton, Perry Como, Bobby Darin, Harry James and Tommy Dorsey.

Songwriters such as Cole Porter and Irving Berlin will also be remembered.

The performers do not attempt to be lookalike or soundalike acts, they intend to pack in as much singing as possible to take the audience back to the days of the Rat Pack.

Songs which will feature in The Sinatra Years include You Make Me Feel So Young, That’s Amore, Mack The Knife, Tiger Rag, Hello Dolly, My Way, New York New York, How High The Moon and I’m Getting Sentimental Over You.

The show will be performed on Saturday August 16 from 7.45pm at the Grand Hall at Scarborough Spa.

Tickets are priced at £14 and are available on (01723) 357869.
