YOUNG comedian Russell Howard will be tickling ribs in Hull when his autumn tour takes him to Hull City Hall.
The 28-year-old star of BBC2 topical comedy show Mock The Week will perform stand-up show Dingledodies in October.

His comedy career started at the age of 19 when he got into the final of Channel 4's So You Think Your Funny? competition at his fifth ever gig.

Russell, who has his own Russell Howard Show on BBC6 Music, has also appeared on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Would I Lie To You and Law of the Playground.

Tickets to Russell's shows at the Edinburgh Festival 2004 to 2007 were completely sold out and his Wandering show was nominated for a Barry Award.

In 2004 he was commissioned by BBC Radio One to write and perform on the comedy series, The Milk Run.
