FANS of Bob Dylan should head for The Back Room, Hallgate in Cottingham on Sunday August 31, where they can spend an evening with Sid Griffin and Rod Clements.
Sid Griffin, leader of bluegrass band The Coal Porters, will be presenting Bob Dylan - The Basement Tapes Show, using spoken word and music.

He will be joined by Rod Clements, best known for his work with Lindisfarne, who will be adding some music examples of Dylan's work and playing his own set of songs.

Based on Griffin's book The Million Dollar Bash: Bob Dylan, The Band and The Basement Tapes, this unique show tells the inside story of Bob Dylan's mysterious missing year of 1966-67 and the recording of the innovative and influential music he made at that time.

Tickets for the show, which starts at 7.30pm, cost £10 and are available in advance from Beverley Tourist Information Centre and Gilly's Balloons in Hallgate, Cottingham.

For telephone reservations or more details ring 01964 551145 or 07872 150293.
