"I will be covering East and North Yorkshire and as Farmway's new farm trader I will be offering farmers a comprehensive agricultural supply service, from grain buying to selling cereal and grass seeds, fertiliser and agrochemicals, as well as a full range of quality animal feeds and animal health products."
Francis will be working along with sales specialists, Robert Jarratt and David Philpotts.
"I am proud to be part of such a professional and experienced team who are committed to providing Farmway members with all their agricultural requirements, together with expert advice, competitive prices and unrivalled service," said Francis.
David Stephenson, Farm-way's head of agriculture said the appointment of Francis was another positive step which will strengthen the Farmway sales team.
"It is particularly important, with all the changes taking place in agriculture at the moment, that we can deliver to our customers the best value inputs and solutions and a strong, experienced farm services team is vital for us to achieve this goal."
