DESPITE the recent wet weather nursery children in Lund have managed to bring a bit of sunshine cheer into their lives.

Children at the Old MacDonalds Childrens Day Nursery in Lund have been growing their own sunflowers in a race to see who can grow the tallest flower.

The sunflower seeds were bought during a recent visit to Cranswick Garden Centre when the children found out about how to grow their own.

A garden has been created in the grounds of the nursery and the children have been enjoying growing and eating their own vegetables as well as watering their own flowers daily.
